Personal AI is something you reach for between meetings, on the bus, in line for coffee, in bed. It has to be where your fingers already are. That means the phone.

But we chose to build the phone experience as a Progressive Web App, not as a native iOS and Android pair. Three reasons:

• Updates ship instantly. No two-week review cycles, no users stuck on a six-month-old version, no "please update" prompts. The web is the only platform where the latest version is the version everyone has.
• It is the same code as your laptop. We are not maintaining separate codebases. The app on your phone and the app on your laptop are the same source. Bugs are fixed once.
• You keep control. No store middleman, no IDFA, no review approval. Your relationship is with us, not with Apple or Google.

Once pinned to your home screen, you will not notice the difference. It looks like an app. It opens like an app. It works offline for views you have visited recently. It pings you for the notifications it needs.

On iOS (Safari)

1. Open 1presence.com in Safari.
2. Tap the share icon (the square with an arrow).
3. Scroll down to "Add to Home Screen."
4. Confirm. The icon appears on your home screen.

On Android (Chrome)

1. Open 1presence.com in Chrome.
2. Tap the three-dot menu in the top right.
3. Choose "Add to Home screen" or "Install app."
4. Confirm. The icon appears in your launcher.

Either way: 20 seconds, no app store, full-screen experience.
