Sharing

Every note can be a public link.

Tap once, get a beautiful URL. Typeset for reading. Social preview image generated automatically. Revoke any time and the link stops working immediately.

Any note, a link in one tap. Revocable any time.

The use case

You ask Presence to brief you on a meeting. The brief is now a vault note. You want to send it to a colleague. Right now, in any other tool, the friction would kill you: copy the text, paste it into Notion, format it, share the Notion link, hope the formatting survives. Or paste it into an email and lose every link.

In 1Presence, you tap Share. A URL appears. The note is now live at a clean, brand-new 1presence.com/... address, typeset for reading like a magazine article, with a social preview image generated for whichever platform you paste the link into.

What gets generated

A readable page

Clean typography. Generous line height. Properly handled headings, lists, code blocks, blockquotes. Mobile-optimised by default.

An OG image

A social preview generated from the document title and excerpt. Works in WhatsApp, Slack, iMessage, Twitter, LinkedIn — anywhere that previews URLs.

A stable URL

Lives on 1presence.com under a short, randomised path. Stays valid until you revoke it.

Who can see what

Shares are off by default. Every note in your vault is private until you tap share. When you share:

  • Anyone with the link can view. We do not require sign-in to read.
  • No directory of shared documents exists. The URL is the only entry point.
  • You can revoke at any time. The next request returns a polite "this link was removed" page.

What is on the shared page

Just the content of the note. No sidebar, no chat, no "made with 1Presence" splash. A small, unobtrusive footer with a link back to 1Presence.com for readers who want to know what produced the page — and that is it. Your shared note reads like the artefact it is, not an ad for the tool that produced it.

Or share privately, just with them

A public link is not always what you want. You can also share a note straight to someone by email — it lands in their Shared with you section, with nothing public and no link to leak. Choose whether each person can read it, comment on it, or edit it alongside you, with a full history of who changed what. See collaboration for how private sharing works.

One tap

A vault note becomes a page.

Turn any note into a public link — typeset for reading, with a social preview — or share it privately with named people who can read, comment or edit. Take any of it back whenever you like.
