Motion

Your day, planned for you — and talked through.

Motion turns tasks and deadlines into calendar blocks so the work actually fits. 1Presence is the calm voice alongside it: what to start with, what is slipping, and whether the week is really going to land.

Open the app and brace yourself — or just ask what's on.

What it actually does

  • Ask what's on today. 1Presence reads your scheduled plan and tells you what to start with, what can wait, and what got pushed — a softer version of opening Motion first thing.
  • Spot what's slipping before it slips. Overdue tasks, projects drifting past a deadline, hours that don't add up — flagged while there is still time to do something about them.
  • Add a task and let Motion place it. Tell it what needs doing and by when; it creates the task and Motion auto-schedules it by priority and deadline.
  • Adjust without hunting. Rename a task, bump a priority, change a due date, mark it done — from the conversation, not the task panel.

Forecasting, not optimism

The thing that changes how you plan is the honest read. Ask whether the week will land and 1Presence looks at your tasks, their deadlines and how Motion has scheduled them, then tells you plainly what is likely to ship and what is going to need a conversation. Not cheerleading — a realistic forecast while you can still act on it.

Pair it with your calendar and the picture gets sharper still: the plan Motion built, checked against the meetings that are actually eating the day.

Try asking

Your task list, in plain conversation:

What should I start with today?

Reads your scheduled plan and names the first thing, and what can wait.

Anything slipping this week?

Surfaces overdue tasks and projects drifting past their deadline.

Add "draft the investor update", high priority, due Thursday.

Creates the task; Motion schedules it into a block for you.

Is Friday's deadline realistic given everything else?

Weighs your tasks and deadlines and gives you an honest yes or no.

Privacy and access

Motion connects with an API key you generate in Motion's own settings and paste into 1Presence — no password ever changes hands, and you can revoke the key from Motion at any time. The key is stored in encrypted secret management, scoped to your account.

1Presence reads your tasks, projects and workspaces, and creates or updates tasks when you ask — Motion does the scheduling. One honest limit: Motion keeps its meeting notes and docs behind a surface its public connection does not open, so if you want those in the picture, paste them in or keep them in your vault.

The shift

The plan you can ask about.

Read your auto-scheduled day, catch what's slipping, add tasks Motion places for you, and get an honest forecast on whether the week lands — without opening the app to brace yourself.
