How it works

Getting the most from it

A kit earns its place when it changes what you look at and what you say, not when it is installed. This is the rhythm that makes it pay.

• Put on the watchlist only what you would actually act on. Say "keep an eye on copper for me" and why, and the Monday sweep reads the news for exactly that.
• Read Markets at a glance on Monday for the mood by asset class and what changed on your list — then ask for a Deep dive on anything that moved: the case laid out both ways, filed for keeps.
• Set a level on anything you watch: "tell me if copper drops below 4.20". The Monday sweep looks up the price and says on its brief whether it has been crossed, with the results days and other dates coming up for what you watch. It is checked once a week, not watched live.
• Keep a decision journal. When you buy, sell or pass, tell Analyst why and when you want to look again, and it goes on the Decision journal in your words. When the date comes, the Monday brief says so, and Analyst sets what you thought beside what has happened since, for you to judge.
• Ask Analyst to compare, never to decide. "Put Northwind beside Fabrikam" gets Compare and explain: the facts side by side, sourced and dated, with the case both ways and no winner. Nothing here is advice, and nothing can trade.
• Every few months, press Go through the watchlist on the board: one name at a time, your conviction and your levels, each saved to its row. Move a row to holding when you buy; with Assets & Holdings installed, a comparison or a deep dive also sets the asset beside what you hold, as plain arithmetic.

Make it yours

Nothing here is fixed. The pieces are ordinary agents, routines, datasets and dashboards, so anything you know about shaping those applies. Retire whatever earns nothing.

Your first run

Installing starts a short setup conversation — not a form. Answer roughly, correct later.

1. Installing ends with "Meet Analyst" — and the first thing it tells you is the deal: evidence, never advice. It presents, you decide, and nothing here ever touches an account.
2. Then it asks what you actually watch. One quick multi-choice covers the asset classes; after that it takes the list in your own words — tickers, funds, whole classes — one at a time, with your one-line reason for caring.
3. It never asks what you hold or how much. The desk reads sentiment, not portfolios — and it never invents a holding you didn't state.
4. The Monday sweep runs either way: with names on the list its note is about your list; with none yet it reads the mood across the asset classes, so the board is alive from the first week.
5. Skip the conversation and the door quietly stays open — until the watchlist has its first name, the kit page, the board and Analyst's chat all offer the way in. Mention an asset in chat any time and it joins without a form.
